October 2014

These papers were selected from a number of outstanding presentations at the 13th European Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security (ECCWS ’14) conducted in Athens, Greece at the University of Piraeus. These eight articles represent a wide breadth and depth of international participation from a number of countries and show a broad spectrum of expertise across a holistic view of Cyber Warfare.

Cyber Security is becoming even more important in the wake of the breaches at Sony, Target, Neiman-Marcus, Home-Depot, etc. The potential loss of consumer confidence in their data has huge implications and exciting new research is being conducted for these difference academic conferences. If you can, you should try to attend to join this group that covers the breadth and depth of information warfare. These next conference is closed for paper submissions, but have room for delegates to attend:
ICCWS ’15 will in South Africa in the world famous Kruger National Park on 24-25 March 2015 – http://academic-conferences.org/iccws/iccws-home.htm

The 14th European Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security ECCWS-2015, will be hosted by the The University of Hertfordshire, in Hatfield, UK on 2-3 July 2015, http://academic-conferences.org/eccws/eccws2015/eccws15-home.htm . They are still accepting abstracts.

Following that, the next ICCWS conference is confirmed for Boston University in March 2016, and the next three ECWWS conferences are tentatively set, as shown below:

·  The 15th European Conference on Cyber Warfare & Security will be held on 7-8 July 2016 and the Bundeswehr University in Munich.

Finally we are very excited about our April 2015 edition of the JIW. We are once again collaborating with the National Security Agency for a special version of our publication which will feature at least eight articles by current serving staffers at this premier Cyber organization in the United States.
