Chief Editor Dr. Edwin "Leigh" Armistead is the president of Peregrine Technical Solutions, LLC, a certified 8(a) small business which focuses on information operations and cyber security. A retired Naval Officer, he earned his Ph.D. from Edith Cowan University with an emphasis on information operations and now serves as the editor of the Journal of Information Warfare, the programme director for ICIW, and a member of the Editorial Review Board for ECIW. He has published three books.

Assistant Editor Dr. William Hutchinson is now an honorary professor at the Security Research Institute at Edith Cowan University and an adjunct at Curtin University in the National Security department. He was formally the Foundation IBM Chair in Information Security, Director of SECAU (Security Research Centre), and coordinator of the Information Operations and Security programmes at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. Bill was the co-founder of the Journal of Information Warfare. He initiated the Australian and New Zealand Systems Conference and the Australian Conference on Information Warfare. He has 33 years’ experience in information systems, systems thinking, influence operations and security in government, the oil and finance industries, and academia. He earned a Ph.D. from Murdoch University in systems methodologies and has published numerous journal papers as well as authoring two books. Bill is Chair of the West Australian chapter of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).

Technical Editor Dr. Marla Weitzman, the journal’s lead technical editor, holds a master's degree and a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of Virginia and a bachelor's degree from Brandeis University. She has taught at the college level for nearly thirty years and has amassed a distinguished record of service as an educator, administrator, and scholar.

Technical Editor Dr. Diane Silver earned her bachelor's degree in English from Emory & Henry College, her master's degree in English from Radford University, and her Ph.D. in Medieval Literature from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. In 2013, after more than twenty years of teaching literature, composition, grammar, business communications, and technical writing at the college level, she joined the JIW staff as a technical writer and editor.

Production and Subscription Lead Michael McGill oversees all aspects of the journal's production, circulation, subscription, and records management. He has earned degrees in Communication and Sociology and has worked for more than a decade in higher education—as both a faculty member and administrator.
