Dr. Andreas Jakoby received his diploma degree in Computer Science from University of Technology Darmstadt in 1991 and his PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Lübeck in 1998. In 2003 he finished his Habilitation at the University of Lübeck. In 1999/2000 he spent his postdoctoral year at the Department of Computer Science, University of Toronto, Canada. He joined the IOSB in 2011 and is head of the group Secure Networks in the department of Secure Communication Architectures. His research interests include privacy, security, cryptography, computational complexity, and parallel and distributed systems.
